Greetings,

     It is with great pleasure that I prepare this message on behalf of the brethren of Lancaster Lodge No 207.  Congratulations are in order for R.W. Bro. Gary MacGregor who represented Lancaster Lodge and the Eastern District extremely well over the past Masonic year as our D.D.G.M.  We are very proud of your efforts Gary!

 

     We began our 2007/2008 Masonic year in fine fashion as we welcomed the Grand Master, M.W. Bro. Allan J Petrisor and some of his Grand Lodge Officers.  They were visiting Lancaster Lodge to help us honour V.W. Bro. Alexander ‘Sandy’ McPherson on his appointment as Assistant Grand Secretary.  He was invested with his Grand Lodge regalia, his 60 year pin and his Grand Lodge Past Masters’ pin in front of family, friends and  brethren.  It was a very memorable evening!

 

     We have a very busy year ahead.  We have already delivered the traveling gavel to Chesterville Lodge No 320.  Also, we have a candidate who will be initiated at our October meeting.  In November, we will have a memorial service and a second degree.  And on December 18^th, we will hold our annual wine and cheese for family and friends in our Lodge room – all are welcome!

 

     Other projects on the go include: our commitment to Highway 34 cleanup, blood donor clinics, student bursary fund, Frederick Earl Eaton memorial bursary fund and our continued support of the Upper Canada Village Lodge project.  We are also proud supporters of the MasoniC.H.I.P program.

 

     On April 15, 2008, we will welcome our District Deputy Grand Master, R.W Bro Jack Tousaw on his official visit to Lancaster Lodge.  We hope to have a full Lodge room that evening!
