Message from the Worshipful Master
Greetings brethren
On behalf of the brethren of Avonmore lodge I welcome you. I am honored to have been elected the worshipful master of Avonmore lodge for the 2011-12 masonic year. I look forward to a great year of Masonic “work” and fellowship as we continue to hone our skills of the craft. The year is already off to a tremendous start with the International Plowing Match now behind us, at this time I would like to congratulate all the brethren who participated and volunteered at this huge event in particular the brethren of Avonmore lodge which was well represented. It was a real pleasure meeting Most Worshipful Brother D. Garry Dowling who attended this event in our district. It is shaping up to be a very busy year indeed, with degree work, blood donor and Masoni-c.h.i.p. all on the agenda. On Feb 20th 2012 we will welcome Right Worshipful Brother Dennis J. Tyrell on his official visit. (3rd Monday, 8 p.m. banquet to follow meeting). A wonderful evening of Masonic fellowship is in store. As well on Nov. 21st we will wecome the brethren of Martintown Lodge who will deliver the travelling gavel. Brethren, as always, Avonmore Lodge promotes and encourages visitation, and you are always most wecome to visit us! I look forward to meeting you all!
