A Message from the East

Brethren:

            This time of year is one that we and our families all enjoy.  I wish every one of you a Merry Christmas, a happy new year, and have a great holiday.

            We had an enjoyable Christmas Lodge meeting on the 15^th this month.  Our family “Christmas Carol singing” was enjoyed by everyone there, as well as the great social get-together afterward.

            We are lucky to have another new candidate who was favorably balloted upon in lodge, so we will be doing a first degree on our January meeting.

            In closing, let me remind you that Christmas is the birthday of Christ.  Christmas carols are some of our favorite hymns, so take advantage of your Christmas eve services with your families to have a good carol sing and to give thanks for the real reason for Christmas.
