This is a newly launched site sponsored by the Grand Lodge of Canada in the Province of Ontario. Among other features it shows a schedule of clinics being held Province wide for each Masonic District. Our (this) website for instance covers "Eastern District" while neighbouring sites include "Ottawa Districts 1 &2, Frontenac and St Lawrence Districts. Non masons you should ask your local lodge what district it belongs to and then you will be able to easily refer to the schedule for your area.
We are the Masonic Child Identification Support Committee of the Conference of Grand Masters of Masons in North America. On the occasion of our third year anniversary of service, we unveil a new dynamic web portal on the front end of our MasoniCHIP web server system, developed to enhance communication and be a resource for Masonic Child Identification and Safe Kids Education across North America.
Affiliated with Child Find Canada and a federally registered charity since 1984 it has helped in the search and recovery of missing children. It works proactively to educate the public to prevent the occurrence of missing children and youth. Child Find Ontario has helped in the recovery of over 600 missing children, and provided advice and support to thousands of families.
The Ontario AMBER Alert Program is a voluntary cooperative plan between the Ontario Association of Broadcasters, law enforcement agencies, and the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. The program is used to alert the public in child abduction cases where police believe the child is in danger of bodily harm or death.
A partnership between Canadian Border Services, The department of Justice Canada, Foreign Affairs Canada and National Missing Children Services Although each department has their own function, "our missing children" operates as one unit as Canada's National Clearinghouse for missing children. In this capacity, the unit is linked to all Canadian police and related agencies through the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), U.S. police agencies through the National Crime Information Centre (NCIC), and most foreign police agencies through Interpol. Collectively, the partnership that forms "our missing children" provides a unique and powerful force in locating and recovering missing children.
Missing Children Society of Canada
The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) is a registered, national non-profit organization dedicated to the search for runaway and abducted children. MCSC provides a comprehensive Investigative Search Program, free of charge, to assist police and searching parents in the active and ongoing search for missing children.
