"MAKING A DIFFERENCE”

The Charity project for Eastern District this year is our four local hospitals:

Each of the hospital has an ongoing fundraising objective and we will donate any monies raised for that institution to those projects designated by the individual hospital foundations as the most urgent. All funds are collected by the Masonic Foundation of Ontario ( Charity # BN : 894112986RR0001) which will add 10% to a total maximum of $1000.

We invite you to participate by donating online using the link at the bottom of the page.

It is important that you refer to the project number in order that the funds are directed to your hospital of choice.   The list of project numbers is as follows:

Project # 2456 Winchester District Memorial Hospital

If the individual fund (Project #) is not available in the drop down menu simply indicate the hospital and project # in the "Message / Instructions" box.

► How will I receive my receipt? The Masonic Foundation of Ontario will issue receipts.

Privacy laws prevent the foundation from providing your personal information . If you wish recognition from the individual Hospital you must indicate that by providing details of the donation to the district secretary.

► I already donate to my Hospital. Will they recognize my donation if I make it through this project? Arrangements have been made with all the hospitals to issue a confirmation and a thank you as long as we receive your notification and information

If you wish to receive recognition from your designated hospital please send the following information to the District Secretary. Name, Address, Tel, Hospital of Choice, Amount of donation, Date of donation

Please note that a receipt is automatically issued by the Masonic Foundation and this information is only necessary if you wish to make the hospital aware of your individual donation.

► Can I pay by credit card? Yes. Please follow the link above. and follow the instructions. Please refer to the list of projects above and enter the project number for the hospital of your choice in the "message / instructions" box or choose from the drop down list of projects if available.

► Can non-masons participate? Absolutely, please tell family and friends. This is a community project and everyone will benefit.

► How do you apportion donations that are not designated to a particular hospital? Any money collected an not earmarked by the donors which also includes anything raised at special events such as , Ladies nights or golf tournaments will be divided amongst the four hospitals by using the percentage of earmarked funds as the formula. i.e.: If 28% of funds donated were designated to Project #2453 then 28% of the unassigned funds would go to Project # 2453
