Remembrance Day in Alexandria Nov 11, 2008

Eastern District was well represented at the Remembrance Day ceremony at the cenotaph in Alexandria. District Deputy Grand Master R.W.Bro. Bob Cleary laid a wreath on behalf of Eastern District. A wreath was also laid on behalf of Alexandria Lodge No.439 and was represented by W. Bro John Kitchen Many district lodges participitated in ceremonies throughout the area during Remembrance Week

| Parade Marshal W. Bro. Bob Alderson led the parade which included Legionnaires, the R.C.M.P, O.P.P, The Glengarry Highland Regiment, the Knights of Columbus, the Air cadets and the Quigley Highlanders Pipes and Drums. |
