Heart And Stroke Duck Race

The 18^th annual Masonic Heart and Stroke “Great Rubber Duck Race” was held at the Chesterville Boat Launch on Sunday Aug. 2, 2009.  Proceeds from this event are shared equally between the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and the Masonic Association of Eastern District.  The Masonic Association uses its share to partially fund their student Bursary Program.  This program awards bursaries to deserving students throughout the Eastern Masonic District (Cardinal to Cornwall to Hawkesbury) pursuing post secondary education.  The Heart and Stroke Foundation uses their share of the proceeds to fund the ongoing programs of that organization.

Since 1992 the Masonic Association of Eastern District in conjunction with the Heart and Stroke Foundation has raised over $130,000.  An amount that is shared equally between both organizations.
